Model Designer Menu Definitions

The SmartInsight Model Designer menu is located at the top of the Model Designer window.

Follow the steps below to access the SmartInsight Model Designer window.

From the portal page, click the Administrator Tools tab > Designer section > SmartInsight.
Click the Design New Report button.
Result: The SmartInsight Designer workspace is displayed.
From the main menu select Setup > Report Model.
Result: The SmartInsight Model Designer window is displayed.

The following table defines the available Model Designer menu options:

Component	Definition
Report Model	The Report menu option provides the following choices within the SmartInsight Model Designer window: New - Used to create a new report model. Open - Used to open an existing report model. Save - Used to save an open report model. Save As - used to save an open report model using a specific name. Export - Used to export an open report model. Export Schema - Used to export a schema. Import - Used to import a SmartInsight report model. Exit - Used to exit the model designer.
Edit	The Edit menu option provides the following choices within the SmartInsight Model Designer window: Undo - Used to undo the last change made. Redo - used to redo what was changed using the last undo command. Remove - Used to remove the selected component.
View	The View menu option provides the following choices within the SmartInsight Model Designer window: Design Panel - Used to display the Design Panel if it is not already display on the SmartInsight Model Designer window.
Help	The Help menu option is used to access this online documentation for SmartInsight.
